End of Week 4 (new pics)

So I'm down to my last workout for Week 4.

It's Aphrodite and I'm going to crush it.  My last time was 36:30...My goal for Saturdays session (gotta have a rest day after 30 min of MAX's) is <35:00 min.

So here are some new pics after I did the hellish MAX's of:

Pushup
Pullup

Which was brutal and awesome at the same time...I suprised myself with how good I did.

I did the following for Pushups

81, 71, 71 (that's a strong finish!)

For Pullups:

41, 31, 21 (only about 15 of all those were actual pullups with no jumping)

So I think I can do every exercise in STAR form except Pullups...so just going to keep working on it.

The pics (I'm swollen after all those pushups!)

Pushing Yourself and Staying Disciplined

So last night I completed the 2nd workout (Aphrodite) for Week 4.

I did every repetition with perfect * form!!

150 full Burpees
150 Squats
150 Situps

I am very proud of myself and have noticed a significant increase in my strength overall.  Also my conditioning is much better than when I started.

I am really looking forward to the end of my 15 weeks, just to see where I am with my reps/times...let alone what I look like.

I've already committed to making Freeletics part of my life from here on out.

This workout program is alot like playing online poker:

It takes routine and discipline to get both accomplished.

Back from Vacation (Started week 3)

So back from FL. I definitely saw a difference in my body while at the beach.  looked much firmer and had more definition and mass in my upper body.

While at FL I only worked out twice which was half of what I wanted to do.

I did 1 session of:

50 burpees
50 pushups
100 squats
50 situps
.5 mi run

which is basically like half a normal freeletics workout...I finished it easily and knew I should have pushed harder.

The second session was much better...

100 pushups
100 burpees
100 situps
30 star situps

Should have kept it up but I slept instead.

---------

We got back into town on Sunday and I worked out as soon as I got home to finish week 3 (Hades)

Man is sucked so bad...after sitting in the car and driving 18 hours it was brutal on my hip flexors but I was really proud of myself for gettting it done. (I would have NEVER, EVER worked out after a road trip in the past...something about the challenge freeletics gives me keeps me motivated).

Then I worked out Monday and started Week 4:

Aphrodite (but I interchange squats with pushups)

It may just be me but it seems like squats are both to many and too easy in the program.  Since I am really focusing on my upper body (and burpees take care of my quads/hammies) I like to supplement as many pushups as I can.

KEEP GOING!

End of week 2, progress update

Made it through and just started week 3.

The burpees are getting easier as well as the situps and pushups.  Pullups are another story...but working on those.

Today I started Week 3 with a modified Aphrodite workout where I replaced the squats with pushups.

Here are my pics:
